About:
This fully mineralised sea salt has been organically hand harvested in the traditional Celtic method by the dedicated salt farmers of Mauritius. This tiny tropical island off the coastlines of Africa is characterised by brilliant blue water and surrounding coral reefs creating pristine conditions for the harvesting of Sea Salt. Water from the Indian Ocean is dried by the sun and the wind in shallow basalt rock pan forming a clean, white sea salt to be gathered by the farmers using long woodent tools.
